About The Position

At VMCH, our Allied Health team plays a vital role in supporting older people to live with dignity, independence, and wellbeing. Corpus Christi, our welcoming aged care residence in Clayton, is seeking a compassionate and skilled Allied Health Professional to join our multidisciplinary team for a 12-month parental leave contract. Whether your background is in Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy or Osteopathy, you will be part of a supportive environment where your expertise truly matters.

Requirements

• A recognised qualification in your allied health discipline
• Current AHPRA or relevant professional registration
• Strong assessment, communication, and clinical reasoning skills
• A warm, empathetic approach and commitment to resident dignity
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• NDIS Worker Screening Check, and proof of work rights in Australia

Nice To Haves

• Experience in aged care, community health, or rehabilitation

Responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality, person‑centred allied health services to residents
• Conduct assessments, develop care plans, and implement evidence‑based interventions
• Work collaboratively with nursing, lifestyle, and clinical teams to optimise resident outcomes
• Support mobility, functional independence, pain management, and overall wellbeing
• Maintain accurate documentation in line with Aged Care Quality Standards
• Contribute to falls prevention, reablement, and restorative care programs
• Build strong, respectful relationships with residents, families, and colleagues
