About The Position

Unifi is hiring an Airport Ramp Agent to provide airline ground services and help ensure aircraft and passengers reach their destinations safely. No experience is required, and paid training is provided. The role involves marshalling aircraft, handling baggage and cargo, performing aircraft and cabin servicing, carrying out safety checks, and operating ramp equipment. Employees must follow company safety and operational standards and report safety or security incidents and potential hazards.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Must be able to obtain credentials required by airport, state, or customs requirements.
• Valid driver's license.
• Must be able to frequently lift more than 70 pounds and constantly lift up to 70 pounds.
• Must be able to constantly push and pull up to 70 pounds.
• Must be able to constantly walk, stand, reach above the shoulder, climb, crawl, stoop, squat, kneel, and bend.
• Must be able to work rotating shifts and hours, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
• Must be able and willing to work outdoors in weather conditions that may include severe seasonal elements.

Responsibilities

• Marshall arriving, departing, and towed aircraft on the ramp.
• Perform wing walker duties to protect aircraft wings from equipment during pushback and de-ice aircraft as required.
• Load, unload, sort, and transfer passenger baggage, airmail, freight, and company materials in and out of aircraft bins, belt loaders, and baggage carts.
• Operate ramp equipment, including bag tugs, belt loaders, aircraft tow tractors, water servicing vehicles, and lavatory servicing vehicles.
• Perform assigned cabin service duties, including servicing aircraft, cleaning lavatories and cabins, and restocking supplies.
• Adhere to safety procedures and policies and complete work safely according to company safety and operational standards.
• Immediately report safety and security incidents and potential hazards under the Unifi Fair and Just Culture Policy.
• Perform other related duties as assigned within the appropriate skill, experience, and capability expectations for the position.
