About The Position

Unifi is seeking an Airport Ramp Agent to support airline ground services and help ensure aircraft and passengers reach their destinations safely. No previous experience is required, and paid training is provided. The role includes marshalling aircraft, handling baggage and cargo, operating ramp equipment, and potentially performing cabin service duties. Work takes place outdoors in varying and potentially severe seasonal weather conditions, on rotating shifts that may include nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime.

Requirements

• No experience is required; paid training is provided.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be able to obtain credentials required by airport, state, or customs requirements.
• Valid driver's license.
• Must be able to frequently lift more than 70 pounds and constantly lift up to 70 pounds.
• Must constantly push and pull up to 70 pounds.
• Must constantly walk, stand, reach above shoulder, climb, crawl, stoop, squat, kneel, and bend.
• Must be able to work rotating shifts and hours, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
• Must be able and willing to work outdoors in weather conditions that may include severe seasonal elements.

Responsibilities

• Marshall arriving, departing, and towed aircraft on the ramp.
• Perform wing walker duties to protect aircraft wings from equipment during pushback and de-ice aircraft as required.
• Load, unload, sort, and transfer passenger baggage, airmail, freight, and company material to and from aircraft bins, belt loaders, and baggage carts.
• Operate ramp equipment, including bag tugs, belt loaders, aircraft tow tractors, water servicing vehicles, and lavatory servicing vehicles.
• When assigned, service aircraft, clean lavatories and cabins, restock supplies, and perform other cabin service duties.
• Follow safety procedures and policies and complete work safely in accordance with company safety and operational standards.
• Immediately report safety and security incidents and potential hazards in accordance with the Unifi Fair and Just Culture Policy.
• Perform other related duties as assigned within the expected skill, experience, and capability requirements of the position.
