About The Position

Unifi is seeking Airport Ramp Agents to provide airline ground services and help aircraft and passengers reach their destinations safely. No experience is required, and paid training is provided. The role involves marshalling aircraft, handling baggage and freight, performing aircraft and cabin services, completing safety checks, and operating ramp equipment. Full-time work starts at 30 hours per week.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Must be at least 18 years old.
Must be able to obtain credentials required by airport, state, or customs authorities.
Must possess a valid driver's license.
Must be able to frequently lift more than 70 pounds and constantly lift up to 70 pounds.
Must be able to constantly push and pull up to 70 pounds.
Must be able to constantly walk, stand, reach above shoulder level, climb, crawl, stoop, squat, kneel, and bend.
Must be able and open to work outdoors in weather conditions that may include severe seasonal elements.

Responsibilities

Marshal arriving, departing, and towed aircraft on the ramp.
Perform wing walker duties to protect aircraft wings from equipment during pushback, and de-ice aircraft as required.
Load, unload, sort, and transfer passenger baggage, airmail, freight, and company material in and out of aircraft bins, belt loaders, and baggage carts.
Operate ramp equipment, including bag tugs, belt loaders, aircraft tow tractors, water servicing vehicles, and lavatory servicing vehicles.
Perform assigned cabin service duties, including servicing the aircraft, cleaning lavatories and the cabin, and restocking supplies.
Adhere to safety procedures and policies and complete work according to company safety and operational standards.
Report safety and security incidents and potential hazards immediately in line with the Unifi Fair and Just Culture Policy.
Perform other related duties as assigned within the skills, experience, and capabilities expected for the position.
