About The Position

Unifi is hiring an Airport Ramp Agent to support airline ground operations at Alexandria International Airport. The role helps aircraft and passengers reach their destinations safely by handling aircraft marshalling, baggage and cargo movement, aircraft servicing, and ramp equipment operation. No prior experience is required, and paid training is provided. The role may also include cabin service duties such as cleaning and restocking aircraft.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
At least 18 years of age.
Able to obtain credentials required by airport, state, or customs authorities.
Valid driver's license.
Able to frequently lift more than 70 pounds and constantly lift up to 70 pounds.
Able to constantly push and pull up to 70 pounds, and walk, stand, reach above shoulder, climb, crawl, stoop, squat, kneel, and bend.
Able and willing to work rotating shifts and hours, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
Able and willing to work outdoors in weather conditions that may include severe seasonal elements.

Responsibilities

Marshall arriving, departing, and towed aircraft on the ramp.
Perform wing walker duties to protect aircraft wings from equipment during pushback and de-ice aircraft as required.
Load, unload, sort, and transfer passenger baggage, airmail, freight, and company material in and out of aircraft bins, belt loaders, and baggage carts.
Operate ramp equipment, including bag tugs, belt loaders, aircraft tow tractors, water servicing vehicles, and lavatory servicing vehicles.
When assigned, service aircraft, clean lavatories and cabins, and restock supplies and other items.
Follow safety procedures, policies, and company safety and operational standards.
Immediately report safety and security incidents and potential hazards in line with the Unifi Fair and Just Culture Policy.
Perform other related duties as assigned within the skills, experience, and capabilities expected for the position.
