About The Position

Unifi is seeking Airport Ramp Agents to support airline ground services and help aircraft and passengers reach their destinations safely. No prior experience is required, and paid training is provided. The role includes guiding aircraft on the ramp, handling baggage and cargo, operating ramp equipment, and potentially performing aircraft cabin service. Employees must follow safety and operational standards and report incidents and hazards. The position is part-time in Palm Springs, California, with A.M. and P.M. shifts scheduled across all days of the week.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be able to obtain credentials required by airport, state, or customs requirements.
• Valid driver's license.
• Must be able to frequently lift more than 70 pounds and constantly lift up to 70 pounds.
• Must constantly push and pull up to 70 pounds.
• Must constantly walk, stand, reach above shoulder, climb, crawl, stoop, squat, kneel, and bend.
• Must be able to work rotating shifts and hours, nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
• Must be able and willing to work outdoors in weather that may include severe seasonal conditions.

Responsibilities

• Marshall arriving, departing, and towed aircraft on the ramp.
• Perform wing walker duties to protect aircraft wings from equipment during pushback and de-ice aircraft as required.
• Load, unload, sort, and transfer passenger baggage, airmail, freight, and company material to and from aircraft bins, belt loaders, and baggage carts.
• Operate ramp equipment, including bag tugs, belt loaders, aircraft tow tractors, water servicing vehicles, and lavatory servicing vehicles.
• Perform assigned cabin service duties, including servicing aircraft, cleaning lavatories and cabins, and restocking supplies.
• Follow safety procedures and policies and complete work in a safe and secure manner according to company standards.
• Immediately report safety and security incidents and potential hazards in line with the Unifi Fair and Just Culture Policy.
• Perform other related duties as assigned within the skill, experience, and capabilities expected for the position.
