About The Position

Unifi is seeking an Airport Ramp Agent to support safe and efficient airline ground services. No prior experience is required, and paid training is provided. The role involves marshalling aircraft, handling baggage and other cargo, operating ramp equipment, and potentially performing cabin service duties. Agents must follow company safety and operational standards and promptly report safety or security incidents and potential hazards. The position is part-time and based in Springfield, Missouri.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be able to obtain credentials required by airport, state, or customs authorities.
• Valid driver's license.
• Able to frequently lift more than 70 pounds and constantly lift up to 70 pounds.
• Able to constantly push and pull up to 70 pounds.
• Able to constantly walk, stand, reach above the shoulder, climb, crawl, stoop, squat, kneel, and bend.
• Able and willing to work rotating shifts and hours, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
• Able and willing to work outdoors in weather conditions that may include severe seasonal elements.

Responsibilities

• Marshal arriving, departing, and towed aircraft on the ramp.
• Perform wing-walker duties to protect aircraft wings from equipment during pushback and de-ice aircraft as required.
• Load, unload, sort, and transfer passenger baggage, airmail, freight, and company materials in and out of aircraft bins, belt loaders, and baggage carts.
• Operate ramp equipment, including bag tugs, belt loaders, aircraft tow tractors, water servicing vehicles, and lavatory servicing vehicles.
• May perform cabin service duties, including servicing aircraft, cleaning lavatories and the cabin, and restocking supplies.
• Follow all safety procedures and policies and complete work in a safe and secure manner according to company standards.
• Immediately report safety and security incidents and potential hazards in line with the Unifi Fair and Just Culture Policy.
• Perform other related duties as assigned within the skills, experience, and capabilities expected for the position.
