About The Position

Unifi is seeking a part-time Airport Ramp Agent in Albany, New York. The role supports airline ground operations by marshalling aircraft, handling baggage and freight, and performing ramp and aircraft servicing duties. No prior experience is required, and paid training is provided. The position requires working rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime, and working outdoors in potentially severe seasonal weather.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must be able to obtain credentials required by airport, state, or customs requirements.
Valid driver's license.
Must be able to frequently lift more than 70 pounds and constantly lift up to 70 pounds.
Must be able to constantly push and pull up to 70 pounds.
Must be able to constantly walk, stand, reach above the shoulder, climb, crawl, stoop, squat, kneel, and bend.
Must be able to work rotating shifts and hours, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
Must be able and willing to work outdoors in potentially severe seasonal weather conditions.

Responsibilities

Marshall arriving, departing, and towed aircraft on the ramp.
Perform wing walker duties to protect aircraft wings from equipment during pushback.
De-ice aircraft as required.
Load, unload, sort, and transfer passenger baggage, airmail, freight, and company materials.
Operate ramp equipment, including bag tugs, belt loaders, aircraft tow tractors, water servicing vehicles, and lavatory servicing vehicles.
Perform assigned cabin service duties, including servicing aircraft, cleaning lavatories and cabins, and restocking supplies.
Follow safety procedures, policies, and company operational standards.
Report safety and security incidents and potential hazards in accordance with the Unifi Fair and Just Culture Policy.
Perform other related duties as assigned within the skill, experience, and capabilities expected for the position.
