About The Position

Unifi is seeking an Airport Passenger Service Agent to provide customer service to passengers throughout arrivals, ticketing, check-in and boarding, baggage services, reservations, and related questions or complaints. The role includes assisting passengers with special needs, directing passengers through Customs, Immigration, and Quarantine, and coordinating the handling of wheelchairs, strollers, and gate-checked bags. New employees receive paid training; prior experience is not required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be able to obtain credentials required by airport, state, or customs requirements.
• Must be able to constantly lift up to 70 pounds or more; push, pull, walk, stand, reach above the shoulder, stoop, squat, kneel, bend, reach out, and grasp; and frequently climb and crawl.
• Must be able to work rotating shifts and hours, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
• Must be able and willing to work outdoors in weather conditions that may include severe seasonal elements.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist passengers during arrival and check-in, including unaccompanied minors, VIP passengers, and passengers requiring wheelchair assistance.
• Operate a computerized system to handle ticketing, check-in, boarding, baggage services, and reservations, and resolve related complaints and problems.
• Direct passengers through Customs, Immigration, and Quarantine.
• Assist ramp agents with making wheelchairs, strollers, and gate-checked bags available for loading before departure and delivery to passengers upon arrival.
• Push wheelchairs carrying passengers through airport areas.
• Follow safety procedures, company safety policies, and operational standards.
• Complete other related duties assigned within the appropriate skill, experience, and capability expectations for the position.
• Immediately report safety and security incidents and potential hazards in accordance with the Unifi Fair and Just Culture Policy.
