About The Position

Unifi is seeking a part-time Airport Passenger Service Agent to provide wheelchair assistance to international passengers at the airport, at all stages between curbside and aircraft. No prior experience is required; paid training is provided. The role involves supporting passengers and delivering a professional customer experience while following safety and operational standards. Employees must be able to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime, and work outdoors in potentially severe seasonal weather.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be able to obtain credentials required by airport, state, or customs requirements.
• Proficient in English.
• Must frequently lift and move up to 70 pounds and constantly push and pull up to 70 pounds.
• Must constantly walk, stand, reach above shoulder, climb, crawl, stoop, squat, kneel, and bend.
• Must be able and willing to work rotating shifts and hours, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
• Must be able and willing to work outdoors in weather that may include severe seasonal elements.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of another language, such as Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Push wheelchairs for passengers requiring assistance at the airport while providing a professional customer experience.
• Assist passengers using wheelchairs with transporting, checking in, or claiming baggage.
• Lift and assist passengers up or down aircraft stairs and in or out of wheelchairs.
• Gather wheelchairs from the concourse and return them to the staging area.
• Adhere to safety procedures and policies and complete work in a safe and secure manner in accordance with company safety and operational standards.
• Report safety and security incidents and potential hazards immediately in accordance with the Unifi Fair and Just Culture Policy.
• Perform other related duties within the skill and experience capabilities expected for the position.
