About The Position

Unifi is hiring an Airport Passenger Assistant to provide wheelchair assistance to international passengers throughout their airport journey, from curbside to aircraft. The role focuses on delivering a professional customer experience while helping passengers move through the airport safely. No prior experience is required, and paid training is provided.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must be able to obtain credentials required by airport, state, or customs requirements.
Proficiency in English.
Must be able to frequently lift or move up to 70 pounds and constantly push or pull up to 70 pounds.
Must be able to constantly walk, stand, reach above the shoulder, climb, crawl, stoop, squat, kneel, and bend.
Must be able to work rotating shifts and hours, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
Must be able and willing to work outdoors in weather that may include severe seasonal conditions.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of another language, such as Spanish.

Responsibilities

Push wheelchairs for passengers requiring assistance at the airport while ensuring a professional customer experience.
Assist passengers using wheelchairs with transporting, checking in, and claiming baggage.
Lift and assist passengers up or down aircraft stairs and into or out of wheelchairs.
Gather wheelchairs from the concourse and return them to the staging area.
Follow safety procedures and policies and complete work in a safe and secure manner according to company safety and operational standards.
Immediately report safety and security incidents and potential hazards in line with the Unifi Fair and Just Culture Policy.
Perform other related duties as assigned within the capabilities appropriate to the position.
