About The Position
The A.L. Mangham Jr Regional Airport is seeking a reliable part-time Airport Lineman for a year-round position. The role combines operational and maintenance tasks to help keep the airport running safely and efficiently. The Airport Lineman provides customer service to visitors, pilots, and passengers; supports aircraft fueling and movement; maintains airport facilities, grounds, and equipment; and assists with airport operations and safety inspections.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid driver license.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in airport operation, or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
Responsibilities
- Greet visitors and assist with luggage.
- Manage courtesy cars and provide support to pilots and passengers.
- Safely fuel aircraft.
- Move aircraft in and out of hangars.
- Perform janitorial duties in the terminal and lounge.
- Maintain airport grounds, vegetation, and equipment.
- Enter data for airport sales and fees.
- Manage UNICOM calls.
- Perform safety inspections of runways and airport property.
