About The Position

Unifi is hiring an Airport Lavatory Agent to operate lavatory servicing equipment and service aircraft lavatories. The work includes unloading lavatory waste, cleaning aircraft lavatory systems, and refilling lavatory fluid. No prior experience is required; paid training is provided.

The role requires safe operation of lavatory and sanitary-water equipment and compliance with company safety, security, environmental, and operational procedures. Agents must be able to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime, and work outdoors in potentially severe seasonal weather.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to obtain and maintain the license required to drive a lavatory service vehicle.
• Ability to obtain credentials required by airport, state, or customs authorities.
• Ability to constantly push and pull up to 70 pounds; walk, stand, reach above shoulder level, stoop, squat, kneel, and bend.
• Ability to occasionally lift, move, and carry up to 70 pounds, and climb and crawl.
• Ability to work rotating shifts and hours, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
• Ability and willingness to work outdoors in weather that may include severe seasonal conditions.

Responsibilities

• Operate lavatory servicing equipment.
• Ensure lavatory equipment is available when needed, including fueling and maintenance.
• Service aircraft lavatories by emptying waste receptacles.
• Use lavatory and sanitary water equipment to empty, flush, and fill aircraft systems.
• Follow environmental procedures when emptying and fueling waste trucks.
• Clean aircraft lavatories and empty waste receptacles.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
• Complete other related duties within the skill and experience capabilities expected for the position.
• Complete work safely and securely in accordance with company safety and operational standards.
• Immediately report safety or security incidents and potential hazards in accordance with the Unifi Fair and Just Culture Policy.
