About The Position

Unifi is seeking Airport Ramp Agents to support airline ground services at Buffalo airport. The role is responsible for marshalling aircraft at gates, loading, unloading and sorting baggage, and may include cabin cleaning, restocking supplies, de-icing, inspections and hazard checks. Agents operate ramp equipment, follow company safety and operational standards, and promptly report safety or security incidents and potential hazards. No prior experience is required, and paid training is provided.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Must be at least 18 years old.
Must be able to obtain credentials required by airport, state or customs requirements.
Must possess a valid driver's license.
Must be able to work rotating shifts and hours, including nights, weekends, holidays and overtime.
Must be able and willing to work outdoors in weather conditions that may include severe seasonal elements.
No prior experience required; paid training is provided.

Responsibilities

Marshal arriving, departing and towed aircraft on the ramp.
Perform wing walker duties to protect aircraft wings from equipment during pushback and de-ice aircraft as required.
Load, unload, sort and transfer passenger baggage, airmail, freight and company material to and from aircraft bins, belt loaders and baggage carts.
Operate ramp equipment, including bag tugs, belt loaders, aircraft tow tractors, water servicing vehicles and lavatory servicing vehicles.
Perform assigned cabin service duties, which may include servicing the aircraft, cleaning lavatories and the cabin, and restocking supplies.
Follow all safety procedures and policies and complete work in a safe and secure manner according to company safety and operational standards.
Immediately report safety and security incidents and potential hazards in line with the Unifi Fair and Just Culture Policy.
Perform other related duties as assigned within the expected skill, experience and capability requirements.
