About The Position

Unifi is seeking an Airport Ramp Agent to provide aircraft and passenger ground services safely. No prior experience is required, and paid training is provided. The position involves marshalling aircraft, handling baggage and freight, operating ramp equipment, and potentially performing cabin service duties. The role is based in Rochester, New York, and requires rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime, as well as working outdoors in seasonal weather conditions.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be able to obtain credentials required by airport, state, or customs requirements.
• Valid driver's license.
• No experience is required; paid training is provided.
• Must be able to frequently lift more than 70 pounds and constantly lift up to 70 pounds.
• Must be able to constantly push and pull up to 70 pounds.
• Must be able to constantly walk, stand, reach above shoulder, climb, crawl, stoop, squat, kneel, and bend.
• Must be able to work rotating shifts and hours, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
• Must be able and willing to work outdoors in weather conditions that may include severe seasonal elements.

Responsibilities

• Marshall arriving, departing, and towed aircraft on the ramp.
• Perform wing-walker duties to protect aircraft wings from equipment during pushback and de-ice aircraft as required.
• Load, unload, sort, and transfer passenger baggage, airmail, freight, and company material in and out of aircraft bins, belt loaders, and baggage carts.
• Operate ramp equipment, including bag tugs, belt loaders, aircraft tow tractors, water servicing vehicles, and lavatory servicing vehicles.
• Perform assigned cabin service duties, including servicing aircraft, cleaning lavatories and cabins, and restocking supplies.
• Follow safety procedures, policies, and company safety and operational standards.
• Report safety and security incidents and potential hazards promptly in accordance with the Unifi Fair and Just Culture Policy.
• Perform other related duties as assigned within the skill, experience, and capabilities expected for the position.
