About The Position

Airport agents provide excellent customer service while carrying out a variety of airport operations. Duties include ticketing and rebooking passengers, boarding flights, assisting passengers with special needs, resolving customer concerns, and handling baggage and aircraft-related tasks. The position is part-time, pays $14.50 per hour, and requires work outdoors in all weather conditions. The schedule is flexible and may include split shifts during early mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age.
Possess a valid, unrestricted, state-issued driver’s license.
Have a high school diploma or GED.
Pass a background check and drug screening.
Be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Have basic knowledge of fundamental computer programs for record-keeping and baggage routing.
Be able to lift 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
Demonstrate adaptability to changing priorities and effective time management skills.
Have strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
Be available for a flexible schedule, including split shifts that may occur during early mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

Load and unload customer luggage, airfreight, and company mail onto and off aircraft.
Greet passengers, issue tickets, provide seat assignments, check baggage, board flights, assist customers who arrive without their luggage, and rebook passengers promptly and courteously.
Escort passengers and customers with special needs safely and courteously.
Marshal aircraft in and out of the ramp area.
Work outside in all weather conditions.
Service aircraft as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Resolve customer concerns.
