About The Position

SkyWest Airlines is hiring a part-time Airport Agent. The role focuses on providing excellent customer service while handling airport and aircraft-related tasks, including ticketing and rebooking passengers, boarding flights, assisting passengers with special needs, and resolving customer concerns. The position requires working outdoors in all weather conditions and may involve split shifts across early mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age.
Possess a valid, unrestricted, state-issued driver’s license.
Have a high school diploma or GED.
Pass a background check and drug screening.
Be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Have basic knowledge of fundamental computer programs for record-keeping and baggage routing.
Be able to lift 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
Demonstrate adaptability to changing priorities and effective time management skills.
Have strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
Be available for a flexible schedule, including split shifts that may occur during early mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

Load and unload customer luggage, airfreight, and company mail onto and off aircraft.
Greet passengers, issue tickets, provide seat assignments, check baggage, board flights, assist customers who arrive without their luggage, and rebook passengers promptly and courteously.
Escort passengers and customers with special needs safely and courteously.
Marshal aircraft in and out of the ramp area.
Service aircraft as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
