About The Position

Airport agents provide customer service and perform a variety of airport and aircraft-support tasks. Duties include ticketing and rebooking passengers, boarding flights, assisting passengers with special needs, resolving customer concerns, and handling luggage, airfreight, and company mail. The role requires working outside in all weather conditions and following a flexible schedule that may include split shifts, early mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays. This is a part-time position paying $14.50 per hour. It is not a Department of Transportation safety-sensitive position.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age.
Possess a valid, unrestricted, state-issued driver’s license.
Have a high school diploma or GED.
Pass a background check and drug screening.
Be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Have basic knowledge of fundamental computer programs for record-keeping and baggage routing.
Be able to lift 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
Demonstrate adaptability to changing priorities and effective time management skills.
Have strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
Be available for a flexible schedule, including split shifts that may occur during early mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

Load and unload customer luggage, airfreight, and company mail onto and off aircraft.
Greet passengers, issue tickets, provide seat assignments, check baggage, board flights, assist customers whose luggage has not arrived, and rebook passengers promptly and courteously.
Escort passengers and customers with special needs safely and courteously.
Marshal aircraft in and out of the ramp area.
Service aircraft as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Resolve customer concerns.
