About The Position

Airport agents are primarily responsible for ensuring excellent customer service while performing a variety of tasks, including ticketing and rebooking passengers, boarding flights, assisting passengers with special needs, resolving customer concerns, and more. The role includes loading and unloading luggage, airfreight, and company mail; helping passengers with tickets, seat assignments, baggage, boarding, and rebooking; escorting customers with special needs; marshaling aircraft; and servicing aircraft as needed. The position requires working outside in all weather conditions and a flexible schedule that may include split shifts, early mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays. This is a part-time position.

Requirements

Be 18 years of age or older.
Possess a valid, unrestricted, state-issued driver’s license.
Have a high school diploma or GED.
Pass a background check and drug screening.
Be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Have basic knowledge of fundamental computer programs for record-keeping and baggage routing.
Be able to lift 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
Demonstrate adaptability to changing priorities and effective time management skills.
Demonstrate strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
Be available for a flexible schedule, including split shifts that may occur during early mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

Load and unload customer luggage, airfreight, and company mail onto and off aircraft.
Greet passengers, issue tickets, provide seat assignments, check baggage, board flights, assist customers who arrive without their luggage, and rebook passengers in a prompt and friendly manner.
Escort passengers and customers with special needs safely and courteously.
Marshal aircraft in and out of the ramp area.
Service aircraft as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
