About The Position

HEICO Repair Group Aerostructures is currently seeking a highly skilled Aircraft Component Maintenance Technician with a strong background in hands-on composite repairs to join our team. In this role, the Technician will be responsible for repairing aircraft structural components to meet FAA regulations and Customer Requirements. This is a hands-on position that requires precision, technical expertise and strict adherence to safety protocols.

Requirements

  • Must have a minimum of 3 years hands-on experience in aircraft component repairs.
  • Must be able to read and interpret technical manuals, drawings and specifications.
  • Must be able to perform composite repairs including carbon fiber, Kevlar and honeycomb structure repairs.
  • Must be able to operate machinery and tools in a safe and effective manner.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Ability to work in a shop environment with exposure to dust, fumes and noise.
  • Ability to stand, bend, reach for extended periods of time.

Nice To Haves

  • FAA Airframe and/or Powerplant license preferred.
  • Prior experience in a certified Part 145 repair station preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Performing maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) on a variety of aircraft structural components including, but not limited to, Flight Control Surfaces, Nacelles, Panels, Doors, Radomes, and Fairings.
