About The Position

MasTec Advanced Technologies is hiring a Technician to install and maintain satellite dishes and receivers through a collaboration with a leading satellite-industry partner. The technician works at customer residences and commercial buildings, completing indoor and outdoor tasks while following safety guidelines. The role includes building positive customer relationships, troubleshooting, and ensuring a seamless customer experience. Technicians advise customers on suitable solutions and products and may perform on-site sales activities after receiving training.

The position offers performance-based compensation and incentives, paid training in safety, customer service, technology, products, and on-site sales techniques, discounted DIRECTV, tools, a uniform, a work van and gas card, medical, dental and vision benefit options, a 401(k) with company match, an employee stock purchase plan, paid time off, and a promotion path to Field Technician Supervisor and Site Manager. Work is independent and field-based. Pay is up to $22 an hour or more.

The job is safety-sensitive and requires strict adherence to safety protocols. Work may take place indoors or outdoors, in environments without heating or air conditioning and regardless of weather. Duties may require climbing ladders, lifting, kneeling, crawling, bending, and other uncomfortable positions. The schedule is flexible and may include weekends or evenings.

Requirements

• Take customer service seriously and set a positive example.

• Be able to climb ladders and meet manufacturer safety requirements for equipment used.
• Candidate body weight plus 25 pounds of tools and equipment must not exceed 375 pounds.
• Be able to lift 60–80 pounds and climb 28–36-foot ladders.
• Be able to work in environments that may not be heated or air conditioned and to work indoors or outdoors regardless of weather.
• Be able to kneel, crawl, bend, or work in other potentially uncomfortable positions.
• Have a valid driver’s license.
• Pass a pre-employment drug test, criminal background check, and motor vehicle record check.
• Be able to work a flexible schedule that includes weekends or evenings.
• Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols and procedures in a safety-sensitive role.
