About The Position

FlowGen Labs is hiring an AI Strategist to own business outcomes for its most important enterprise deployments. Working closely with a Forward Deployed Engineer, the Strategist embeds with customer finance, operations, and technology teams to understand how work is performed across complex SAP environments. The role identifies workflows where autonomous agents can create value, defines success measures, aligns stakeholders, and leads engagements from discovery through production adoption and expansion. This is a hands-on, forward-deployed position focused on delivering measurable business impact. The Strategist builds trust with executives and frontline users, brings structure to ambiguous problems, translates operational complexity into executable deployment plans, and remains accountable through implementation and adoption. The role also identifies opportunities to extend automation to adjacent workflows and helps shape FlowGen’s product, deployment methodology, and customer strategy. The position is in person in the San Francisco Bay Area, with regular customer travel as required by engagements. Visa support and sponsorship are available.

Requirements

  • Exceptional problem-solving ability, including the ability to enter unfamiliar environments, ask incisive questions, identify constraints, and turn ambiguity into a concrete plan.
  • Strong business judgment and ability to distinguish promising AI use cases from workflows likely to produce material operational value.
  • Ability to work across executive strategy and operational detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and credibility to challenge assumptions and align business and technical stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical instincts and comfort working with messy enterprise data.
  • Practical fluency with AI systems and agentic workflows, including understanding where probabilistic systems can create leverage, where deterministic controls are needed, and where human oversight is essential.
  • Ability to work in person in the San Francisco Bay Area and travel regularly to customers as required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with SAP, enterprise finance, supply chain, procurement, order management, or other operational workflows.
  • Experience with SQL, Python, spreadsheets, or business intelligence tools.

Responsibilities

  • Own customer engagements from initial discovery through deployment, adoption, measurement, and expansion.
  • Develop a detailed understanding of customer workflows, including process steps, decisions, exceptions, controls, data sources, failure modes, and manual workarounds.
  • Identify and prioritize high-value workflows based on business value, technical feasibility, data readiness, operational risk, and organizational readiness.
  • Define measurable deployment outcomes, such as cycle-time reduction, touchless processing rate, error reduction, SLA attainment, working-capital improvement, and support-cost reduction.
  • Lead working sessions with executives, process owners, SAP teams, IT, security, compliance, and frontline users.
  • Identify opportunities to expand automation to adjacent workflows and deliver greater enterprise-wide value.
  • Build trust with executives and frontline users and align stakeholders across business and technical teams.
  • Translate operational complexity into an executable deployment plan and remain accountable for measurable impact.
  • Help shape FlowGen’s product, deployment methodology, and customer strategy.
