ARCO Companies•Chicago, IL

About The Position

As an AI Solutions Analyst on ARCO’s Innovation team, you will identify and solve business problems using AI. The role is forward deployed, involving time embedded with departments such as preconstruction, accounting, HR, safety, legal, and marketing to understand how work is done and then design, build, pilot, and roll out AI agents and workflows on ARCO’s platforms. You will own problems end to end, from initial discovery through adoption, and measure success by the time saved for ARCO associates. The position involves building solutions with tools including Claude, Claude Code, Glean, and custom-built systems connected to core company systems. You will work with business leaders and technology teams to prioritize opportunities, ensure solutions meet governance, security, and privacy requirements, and transition mature solutions to long-term owners. The role also includes evaluating vendor tools, supporting ideas submitted through ARCO’s AI ideas program, documenting solutions, and communicating emerging AI capabilities to the business.

  • Ability to read and write Python, SQL, or JavaScript with AI assistance, work with APIs, and use the command-line interface; software engineering expertise is not required.
  • Strong discovery skills, including eliciting the underlying problem from busy associates and distinguishing requests from actual needs.
