About The Position

The Senior AI Solutions Analyst delivers rapid, high-quality ad-hoc and exploratory reporting and maintains and enhances dashboards to meet immediate business needs. The role partners with stakeholders to respond to urgent reporting requests, translate business questions into actionable insights, and keep dashboards accurate, relevant, and easy to use. It identifies recurring requests and works with the BI team to move repeatable work into standardized, scalable reporting solutions. The analyst also evaluates and applies emerging AI capabilities, automation, and analytics technologies to improve reporting efficiency, accelerate insight delivery, and support better decision-making.

This is a hybrid position located at Wells Fargo 30 Hudson Yards, New York, NY 10001. The role develops Power BI datasets, semantic models, dashboards, and reports; optimizes SQL queries and data pipelines; and ensures performance, security, and scalability. It supports data-driven decisions by integrating and analyzing multiple data sources, validating data, addressing quality gaps, and communicating findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders. The analyst also collaborates with the Automations team on AI-powered solutions, including AI agents, copilots, and workflow automations.

Requirements

• 3 to 6 years of BI and data development experience.
• Advanced expertise in Power BI, including DAX, semantic data modeling, and performance optimization.
• Strong SQL development skills, including queries, views, and stored procedures.
• Strong analytical, mathematical, and reasoning skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and ensure report and dashboard accuracy and consistency.
• Experience in a consultative role with business leaders, clients, and stakeholders, translating business challenges into data-driven solutions and communicating insights to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Proficiency with modern data transformation and modeling tools such as DBT, and a solid understanding of data warehousing, schema design, and ETL/ELT best practices.
• Experience with version control and CI/CD tools such as GitHub, and familiarity with data pipeline orchestration tools such as Airflow or equivalents.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts and data insights to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to execute efficiently in a fast-paced environment and collaborate cross-functionally with technical teams, business stakeholders, and leadership.
• Proficiency in modern AI platforms such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Claude, and similar tools to enhance analytics, automation, reporting, and decision-making.
• Ability to perform the essential functions of the position satisfactorily, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience designing and supporting enterprise reporting and financial analytics solutions.
• Experience in food service or related industries.
• Experience with Microsoft Fabric; experience with Azure SQL Managed Instance and/or Snowflake is a plus.

Responsibilities
