About The Position

Canva is seeking an AI Quality Evaluator fluent in French to join their team on a 12-month contract. This role is focused on ensuring the quality and cultural appropriateness of AI-generated content for French users. The position involves labelling, annotating, and evaluating various media types, contributing to French-specific datasets, and collaborating with international teams to maintain quality standards. The role requires a high degree of attention to detail, self-direction, and adaptability in a fast-paced, evolving work environment. This is a full-time, remote position based in France.

Requirements

• Native French speaker with strong written and spoken English
• Ability to move fluidly between French and English with confidence
• Meticulous attention to detail; inconsistencies catch your eye and you hold yourself to a high quality bar even on repetitive tasks
• Self-directed and able to manage own time across multiple concurrent projects without needing to be chased
• Adaptable; able to pick up new guidelines quickly and apply them consistently across different task types
• Genuinely curious about AI and excited to be part of building language experiences that work for French users
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment where the work evolves and no two weeks look exactly the same

Responsibilities

• Labelling, annotating, and evaluating photos, graphics, videos, stickers, and designs in French — assessing linguistic quality, accuracy, and cultural appropriateness
• Evaluating AI-generated content against Canva's quality bar for French users, helping shape how AI experiences land in your language
• Building and contributing to French-specific datasets to support the internationalisation of Canva AI features
• Delivering labelled assets on time, meeting output targets across a variety of task types and labelling guidelines
• Reviewing and refining your own labels based on feedback to maintain accuracy and consistency
• Collaborating with in-house Data Labelling teams across the Philippines and EU for ongoing quality alignment
