About The Position

Canva is seeking an AI Quality Evaluator with native Korean language skills for a 12-month contract engagement. This role focuses on ensuring the quality and cultural appropriateness of AI-generated content for Korean users. You will be responsible for labeling, annotating, and evaluating various types of media, contributing to the development of Korean-specific datasets, and collaborating with international teams to maintain quality standards. This is a full-time, remote-friendly position based in Seoul, South Korea, within Canva's Localisation team, which is a core strategic priority for the company.

Requirements

• Native Korean speaker.
• Strong written and spoken English.
• Ability to move fluidly between Korean and English with confidence.
• Attention to detail; ability to spot inconsistencies and maintain a high quality bar on repetitive tasks.
• Self-directed and able to manage own time across multiple concurrent projects.
• Adaptable; able to pick up new guidelines quickly and apply them consistently.
• Genuine curiosity about AI and excitement to build language experiences for Korean users.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment where work evolves.

Responsibilities

• Labeling, annotating, and evaluating photos, graphics, videos, stickers, and designs in Korean, assessing linguistic quality, accuracy, and cultural appropriateness.
• Evaluating AI-generated content against Canva's quality bar for Korean users.
• Building and contributing to Korean-specific datasets to support the internationalisation of Canva AI features.
• Delivering labelled assets on time, meeting output targets across a variety of task types and labelling guidelines.
• Reviewing and refining your own labels based on feedback to maintain accuracy and consistency.
• Collaborating with in-house Data Labelling teams across the Philippines and EU for ongoing quality alignment.
