About The Position

The JM Family College Internship Program gives college students meaningful work experience related to their studies. Interns contribute to their teams, learn about JM Family’s companies and culture, and develop skills through learning opportunities, networking events, and other activities. The AI Intern works alongside the AI team on real-world data and machine learning projects, supporting day-to-day project work through research, analysis, and documentation while contributing ideas to the department’s objectives. The internship runs from May 24, 2027, through July 30, 2027. The ideal candidate is available to work full-time during the program; work arrangements may be flexible depending on business needs.

Requirements

• Be actively enrolled in a bachelor’s, master’s, or other degree-seeking program at an accredited college or university, with at least one semester of coursework completed.
• Pursue a degree in Math, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; candidates in related fields will also be considered.
• Have working knowledge of Python.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with SQL.
• Coursework or experience in data analysis or machine learning.

Responsibilities

• Use Python in Jupyter Notebooks to perform data analysis in support of AI projects.
• Extract and work with data using SQL to support project and analytical needs.
• Perform basic machine learning tasks using project data.
• Conduct research to support ongoing AI initiatives and project work.
• Assist with preparing and maintaining project documentation.
• Complete assigned project work and provide progress updates.
