AI Implementation Strategist — Enterprise Deployment

Logical Intelligence•San Francisco, CA

About The Position

Logical Intelligence is seeking a highly technical, hands-on AI Implementation Strategist to connect its research and engineering teams with strategic enterprise customers. The role focuses on understanding difficult customer technical problems, identifying where the company’s AI reasoning systems can create value, and taking use cases from discovery through pilot and production. It is a senior individual-contributor position for someone who wants to remain deeply involved in day-to-day execution rather than manage a team. The exact title and level may vary based on experience. The strategist will work with enterprise customers to understand their technical environments and turn complex problems into AI use cases, architectures, integrations, and measurable success criteria. They will scope and drive pilots and integrations, support the transition from experimentation to production, collaborate with internal research and engineering teams on deployment challenges, and bring customer learnings back into the product. The role also involves building trust with technical and business stakeholders, guiding ambiguous AI initiatives, and using technical and commercial judgment to identify valuable use cases and help successful deployments expand into long-term enterprise relationships.

Requirements

  • Strong technical foundation in computer science, engineering, mathematics, statistics, or another quantitative discipline.
  • Hands-on experience deploying complex software, data, ML, or AI systems with enterprise customers.
  • Strong understanding of modern AI and software architectures and ability to engage deeply with technical teams.
  • Experience translating ambiguous customer problems into concrete technical requirements and deployment plans.
  • Experience taking pilots or proofs of concept toward production.
  • Comfort working directly with engineers and senior customer stakeholders.
  • Strong ownership mentality and comfort operating in an early-stage environment where the playbook is still being built.
  • Approximately 8 or more years of experience is expected for many strong candidates, but technical depth, hands-on execution, and demonstrated impact matter more than a specific number of years.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in industrial, chemistry, materials, energy, manufacturing, scientific computing, or another technically complex domain.
  • Management consulting or forward-deployed experience.

Responsibilities

  • Work directly with enterprise customers to understand technical environments and translate complex problems into AI use cases, architectures, integrations, and measurable success criteria.
  • Scope and drive technical pilots and integrations, helping customers move from experimentation to production.
  • Partner with research and engineering teams to solve deployment challenges and relay customer learnings to the product team.
  • Build credibility with technical and business stakeholders and guide customers through ambiguous, high-value AI initiatives.
  • Identify valuable use cases and help successful deployments grow into long-term enterprise relationships.
