AI deployment engineer (East)
About The Position
WRITER is hiring an AI Deployment Engineer to partner directly with enterprise customers and develop AI-powered solutions using WRITER’s platform and enterprise-grade LLMs. The role involves uncovering customers’ business challenges, translating complex needs into high-impact applications, and helping customers achieve business results. The engineer will also contribute to customer success and product evolution while working with WRITER’s team to advance generative AI solutions. This is a hybrid role based out of WRITER hubs in San Francisco, Chicago, Austin, New York City, Seattle, and London. WRITER is open to hiring at multiple levels, with compensation ranges scaled to experience, expertise, and role scope.
Requirements
- Over 5 years of hands-on experience in technical SaaS roles.
- At least 3 years of experience in solutions architecture, technical consulting, or technical account management.
- Deep technical fluency in Python and extensive experience leveraging APIs.
- Experience designing sophisticated prompts and understanding linguistic principles for AI applications.
- Proven track record architecting and delivering complex technical solutions for Fortune 500 enterprises in a fast-paced, high-growth B2B SaaS environment.
- Exceptional communication and executive presence, with the ability to explain complex AI concepts to technical teams and C-suite leaders.
- A builder’s mindset and passion for emerging technologies, with eagerness to experiment, learn, and iterate.
- Strong drive to connect with customers and internal teams, challenge the status quo, and own successful outcomes for strategic accounts.
Responsibilities
- Partner with enterprise customers to identify strategic AI use cases, validate technical feasibility, and own end-to-end implementation of tailored solutions.
- Architect and deliver custom applications, templates, and integrations using WRITER’s platform, APIs, and Knowledge Graph capabilities.
- Explain technical concepts and platform capabilities clearly, and guide customers toward appropriate solutions in the generative AI landscape.
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams, sharing customer feedback to influence the product roadmap and support innovation.
- Develop scalable processes, documentation, and workflows for technical integrations to reduce customer time-to-value.
- Champion adoption and expansion of WRITER’s AI solutions within customer accounts, supporting impact and return on investment.
