About The Position

Northwest Regional Council (NWRC) is hiring an Aging & Disability Resources (ADR) Program Specialist for its Skagit office. NWRC is a multi-service agency serving Island, San Juan, Skagit, and Whatcom counties in Washington. Its ADR program supports older adults and people who need long-term care by providing information and referral assistance and connecting clients with resources such as Meals on Wheels, respite care, care planning, and caregiving support. The Program Specialist provides clients and their families with information about services, products, and resources available through social service agencies, medical providers, and community partners in the aging and disability network. The role screens clients for services, makes referrals to appropriate resources, and provides general assistance to clients and families. This is a full-time, permanent, non-exempt position. The schedule is developed with the Community Programs Supervisor and includes regular in-person time in the Skagit office, with optional remote days. NWRC offers alternative work schedules and a hybrid work environment. The 10-step pay range is $28.49–$37.17 per hour. Employees are generally hired at the first step, though a higher starting step may be considered based on experience, training, or demonstrated capability, with internal equity prioritized.
