Aging Case Aide 1 (Local Government)

Join the Potter County Area Agency on Aging (AAA) as an Aging Case Aide 1 and support older adults as they access important services. Requirements
- One year of public contact work, which involved obtaining or providing information; or any equivalent of experience and training.
- You must meet the PA residency requirement.
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
- Satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.
- Satisfactory criminal history reports including, but not limited to, PA State Police clearance, PA Child Abuse history clearance, and FBI Fingerprint clearance.

Responsibilities
- Complete intake forms and enter accurate information into the electronic system
- Provide helpful information to consumers, families, and the public
- Assist consumers with applications for additional needed services
- Arrange transportation needs, including scheduling and driving when required
- Send letters, releases, and other necessary documents to consumers
- Carry out routine office duties such as filing, gathering information, and helping prepare reports
