Wayne County Children & Youth Services is looking for a caring and responsible person who will make a difference by providing services to families with children in all areas including parent education, nutrition, life skills, etc. Assists and educates in all phases of the family's life. Requirements

• Graduation from high school; or Any equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Meet the PA residency requirement.
• Able to perform essential job functions.
• Pass a background investigation.
• Pass a drug screening (conditional offer of employment).
• Satisfactory criminal history reports including, but not limited to, PA State Police clearance, PA Child Abuse history clearance, and FBI Fingerprint clearance (conditional offer of employment).

Nice To Haves

• Possible travel requiring overnight stays.
• Possible after-hours appointments for supervised visitation and transportation.

Responsibilities

• Guide families in budgeting, hygiene, nutrition, home care, and parenting tasks
• Drive consumers to supervised visitation and required appointments
• Provide care when needed and help with completing forms and applications
• Write reports after each appointment and take part in planning meetings
• Attend court when needed and assist with general clerical responsibilities
