About The Position

Modernizing a legacy operational system using a microservices-based architecture and cutting-edge technologies. Develop Java Spring Boot microservices on AWS, build REST services with Spring, and implement CI/CD with Maven, GitLab, and GitOps.

Requirements

• Java Spring Boot microservice applications using AWS native technologies
• Python
• AWS services such as Lambda, Step Functions, EC2, and S3
• REST services with Spring to filter and select complex data objects
• CI/CD principles using Maven, GitLab, and GitOps
• Agile development and delivery of software
• Communication and collaboration
• Cucumber testing
• Cypress and Playwright testing
• AWS tools, Maven, GitLab, and GitOps
• Kubernetes
• Docker
• Development in cloud environment
• Rules engines
• 9 years of relevant experience or a Master’s degree plus 7 years of relevant experience
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education
• An Associate’s degree plus 11 years of relevant experience or high school diploma/GED plus 13 years of experience may be considered for individuals with in-depth experience that is clearly related to the position.
• Able to support an on-call rotation.

• Relational data store familiarity (RDS, PostgreSQL, Oracle, etc.)
