About The Position

Modernizing a legacy operational system using a microservices-based architecture and cutting-edge technologies. Responsible for developing Java Spring Boot microservice applications, optimizing AWS services with Python, building REST services, and supporting CI/CD and agile delivery. Writing Java Spring Boot based micro service applications utilizing AWS native technologies Utilize Python to optimize AWS services such as Lambdas, Step Functions, EC2 and S3 Building REST services with Spring able to filter and select complex data objects Implement CI/CD principals utilizing Maven, Gitlab and GitOps Agile development and delivery of software Communicate and collaborate effectively with other team members, as well as with stakeholders

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree plus 12 years of relevant experience or a Master’s degree plus 10 years of relevant experience. An Associate’s degree plus 14 years of relevant experience or high school diploma/GED plus 16 years of experience may be considered for individuals with in-depth experience that is clearly related to the position.
• TS/SCI Clearance
• Polygraph required within 7 years

Responsibilities

• Write Java Spring Boot microservice applications using AWS native technologies
• Use Python to optimize AWS services such as Lambda, Step Functions, EC2, and S3
• Build REST services with Spring that can filter and select complex data objects
• Implement CI/CD practices using Maven, GitLab, and GitOps
• Work in an agile development and delivery environment
• Communicate and collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders
• Support an on-call rotation
