About The Position

Nakupuna Consulting is seeking a Business Analyst III to support writing Epics and Features for an Agile Software Delivery Team. The role requires frequent, open communication with the Program Manager and the Army client, excellent writing skills for important reports, and participation in meetings. The Business Analyst will solve complex problems with limited assistance and collaborate with Agile Teams and other parts of the program.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with 6–8 years of experience within the federal government, DoD, Army, IC, and/or private sector preferred.
• Current Secret clearance.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Ability to perform repetitive motions with the hands, wrists, and fingers.
• Ability to engage in and follow audible communications in emergency situations.
• Ability to sit for prolonged periods at a desk and work on a computer.

Nice To Haves

• Certifications in SAFe for Teams or SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree with 6–8 years of relevant experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support User Story writing and management of the ART Backlog.
• Collect data from agile teams and create, maintain, and deliver project metrics and data inputs to CDRLs.
• Support agile data collection, administer agile project tools, and compile reports.
• Provide project coordination and analysis for managers.
• Perform work with a high degree of latitude.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and/or mentoring to a subordinate group.
• May act as lead or first-level supervisor.
