About The Position

The Agent may perform a variety of responsibilities depending on the assignment, including concierge-level, residential, campus, event, and response security; basic driving; and investigations. The Agent represents Pinkerton’s core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence while providing security services at client locations and events.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Law enforcement, military, and/or security experience.
CA BSIS Guard Card, CA BSIS Exposed Firearms Permit, and CA CCW/HR218 are required.
Concierge-level customer service knowledge.
Ability to conduct thorough and accurate investigations and prepare reports.
Experience with access control systems, CCTV, and alarm monitoring.
Problem-resolution skills.
Ability to interact effectively at all levels and across diverse cultures.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Computer knowledge, including Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

Represent Pinkerton’s core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence.
Provide concierge-level security at client locations and/or events.
Deescalate tense situations or individuals.
Write detailed incident reports after incidents, occurrences, or variances requiring documentation.
Conduct investigations and complete investigative reports.
Oversee external campus drop-offs and pick-ups and conduct perimeter patrols, as assigned.
Provide response services related to emergency and crisis planning, high-risk terminations, workforce disruptions, natural disasters, civil unrest, and threat monitoring.
Transport the client to and from company locations and/or events, as assigned.
Secure the client’s residential perimeter; review CCTV; manage access controls; and respond to alarms, as assigned.
Identify and escalate equipment deficiencies or failures.
Perform other duties as assigned.
