About The Position
The Agent provides security and related services for Pinkerton clients. Depending on the assignment, responsibilities may include concierge-level, residential, campus, or event security; response services; basic driving; and investigations. The role is scheduled Friday through Sunday, from 5 AM to 5 PM. The Agent represents Pinkerton’s values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence and may provide services at client locations, residences, campuses, and events.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED, with law enforcement, military, and/or security experience.
- A current Washington Unarmed and Armed Guard license, valid Washington CPL, current and valid HR218/LEOSA with a current annual firearm qualification card, or qualifying reciprocal out-of-state CCW.
- Completion of Pinkerton’s licensing process, which requires additional training and may include verification of required licenses and affiliation with the appropriate Pinkerton entity.
- Concierge-level customer service knowledge.
- Ability to complete thorough and accurate investigations and reports.
- Experience with access control systems, CCTV, and alarm monitoring.
- Problem-resolution skills.
- Ability to interact effectively at all levels and across diverse cultures.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Computer knowledge, including Microsoft Office.
Responsibilities
- Represent Pinkerton’s core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence.
- Provide concierge-level security at client locations and/or events.
- Deescalate tense situations or individuals.
- Write detailed incident reports following incidents, occurrences, or variances that warrant documentation.
- Conduct investigations and complete investigative reports.
- Oversee external campus drop-offs and pick-ups and conduct perimeter patrols, as assigned.
- Provide response services related to emergency and crisis planning, high-risk terminations, workforce disruptions, natural disasters, civil unrest, and threat monitoring.
- Transport the client to and from company locations and/or events, as assigned.
- Secure the client’s residential perimeter, review CCTV, manage access controls, and respond to alarms, as assigned.
- Identify and escalate equipment deficiencies or failures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
