About The Position

Pinkerton’s mission is to protect its clients through enterprise risk management services and programs tailored to each client. The Agent may perform a variety of duties depending on the assignment, including concierge-level, residential, campus, and event security; response services; basic driving; and investigations. The role may involve providing security at client locations and events, supporting emergency and crisis response, conducting investigations, and safeguarding client residences and campuses. The position requires regular computer use, frequent sitting, standing, or walking, occasional reaching and lifting of small objects, and travel as required. The listed pay range is USD $30.00 per hour.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED with law enforcement, military, and/or security experience.
• Virginia DCJS Unarmed Security Officer license.
• Knowledge of concierge-level customer service.
• Ability to complete thorough and accurate investigations and reports.
• Experience with access control systems, CCTV, and alarm monitoring.
• Problem-resolution skills.
• Ability to interact effectively at all levels and across diverse cultures.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Computer knowledge, including Microsoft Office.
• Ability to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to make rapid and effective decisions during unusual or emergency situations.
• Ability to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Represent Pinkerton’s core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence.
• Provide concierge-level security at client locations and/or events.
• Deescalate tense situations or individuals.
• Write detailed incident reports following incidents, occurrences, or variances that warrant documentation.
• Conduct investigations and complete investigative reports.
• Oversee external campus drop-offs and pick-ups and conduct perimeter patrols, as assigned.
• Provide response services related to emergency and crisis planning, high-risk terminations, workforce disruptions, natural disasters, civil unrest, and threat monitoring.
• Transport the client to and from company locations and/or events, as assigned.
• Secure the client’s residential perimeter; review CCTV, manage access controls, and respond to alarms, as assigned.
• Identify and escalate equipment deficiencies or failures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
