Requirements

  • Previous sales experience or a proven track record of meeting targets
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Confidence making outbound calls and closing business
  • Receptiveness to coaching and a willingness to learn
  • Strong organization and time management skills

Nice To Haves

  • At least 1 year of experience in sales, customer service, or insurance
  • Property & Casualty and/or Life & Health license preferred (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Bilingual skills are a plus

Responsibilities

  • Generate new business by identifying prospects, conducting outreach, and converting leads into policies
  • Consult with clients to assess their insurance requirements and recommend appropriate coverage
  • Sell and cross-sell various insurance products such as Auto, Home, Life, and Commercial policies
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, offering ongoing assistance and conducting policy reviews
  • Achieve and surpass individual sales targets to help grow the agency
  • Keep current with product information and compliance standards
  • Utilize CRM tools to manage leads, follow-ups, and policy renewals
  • Engage in team meetings and sales strategy sessions
