About The Position

At SOGECLAIR, we are seeking experienced Senior Methods Agents – Mechanical Systems to support production activities for the De Havilland Canada DHC-515 program in Calgary. This position is primarily focused on production support within a Final Assembly Line environment. Candidates will act as key manufacturing methods experts directly supporting production teams by resolving installation issues, improving assembly processes, and ensuring smooth manufacturing operations.

Requirements

• Minimum of 15 years of experience in aerospace manufacturing methods or production support.
• Strong experience with aircraft mechanical systems installation.
• Significant experience supporting Final Assembly Line (FAL) operations.
• Strong ability to work directly on the shop floor in a production support role.
• Good understanding of engineering drawings and aerospace technical documentation.
• Experience with ERP/MES systems and manufacturing documentation.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily hands-on support to production teams for aircraft mechanical systems installations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues encountered on the production floor to minimize impacts on schedule and quality.
• Create, revise, and maintain work instructions and manufacturing documentation related to mechanical systems installation.
• Translate engineering data into practical and executable assembly methods adapted to production realities.
• Support installation and integration activities for aircraft mechanical systems.
• Participate in non-conformance investigations and root cause analysis with Quality, Engineering, and Production teams.
• Implement corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives to optimize installation and manufacturing processes.
• Define tooling, fixtures, and equipment required for assembly operations.
• Actively support production ramp-up and industrialization activities for the DHC-515 program.
• Work closely with production supervisors and cross-functional teams to ensure rapid resolution of technical issues.
