About The Position

Roshana Care Group is seeking an Aged Carer to join its team at Carmel Aged Care, a 120-bed purpose-built facility in Carmel, in the Perth Hills. The facility is set among natural bushland and features private ensuites, landscaped gardens, and contemporary common areas.

In this hands-on role, you will support residents with daily living while helping create a welcoming, person-centred home. You will provide personal care, support independence and participation in activities, follow care plans, and work collaboratively with the care team. The position is offered on a part-time and casual basis.

Requirements

• Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care) or equivalent.
• A genuine interest in working with older people and a caring, respectful approach.
• Strong communication skills and a calm, caring presence, including on busy days.
• Reliability, flexibility, and confidence assisting where the team needs support.
• A National Police Clearance or NDIS Screening Check, or willingness to obtain one.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in aged care or a similar environment is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Provide warm, respectful personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene, in accordance with residents’ choices and preferences.
• Support residents with mobility, meals, and daily routines to promote independence.
• Encourage participation in social, lifestyle, and cultural activities, including music, games, walks, and conversation.
• Follow individual care plans to provide safe, high-quality, person-centred care.
• Monitor and promptly report changes in residents’ health or condition.
• Help maintain a clean, comfortable, homely environment.
• Support medication routines in accordance with policy and scope of practice.
• Contribute positively to the team and support and encourage colleagues.
