About The Position

Green Valley Grill is seeking a friendly, energetic Afternoon Tea Manager to join a team of restaurant professionals and provide outstanding guest experiences in a fast-paced environment. The role is grounded in the organization’s mission of being of genuine service to guests, fellow staff members, owners, and the Earth and her people. The manager leads tea service operations, supports and develops colleagues, ensures consistent service, and takes ownership of the financial and operational aspects of tea service.

Requirements

Availability for tea service hours: Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday 1 p.m.–6 p.m.; Thursday 10 a.m.–3:30 p.m.; Friday, Saturday, and Sunday 11 a.m.–7 p.m.
Friendly, energetic, and detail-oriented.
Passion for hospitality.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong sense of urgency and initiative.
Ability to retain and recall detailed information.

Responsibilities

Anticipate guest needs and identify opportunities to create memorable experiences.
Lead communication and collaboration across departments and service team members.
Lead a team focused on consistently providing outstanding guest service and following established systems.
Maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety.
Lead and coach colleagues during each shift.
Recruit and hire strong candidates and develop them into staff members.
Manage tea service financial responsibilities, including payroll, daily reports, food cost, and wastage.
Create an environment that encourages leaders to develop their skills.
Participate energetically in staff meetings and educational opportunities.
Ensure maintenance, training, and sanitation standards are met.
