About The Position

The Aftermarket Parts Clerk provides customer service to walk-in, phone, internet, and email customers; promotes products; enters customer orders in Cummins Clean Fuel Technologies’ order entry system; and helps ensure timely delivery of parts and accessories. The role also assists with accounts receivable functions, including collecting funds for parts sales.

Requirements

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide service to walk-in, phone, internet, and email customers.
Enter parts orders in CCFT’s system in a timely manner and create jobs for fabricated parts when needed.
Document sales according to Cummins Clean Fuel Technologies policies, including obtaining signatures and recording information on checks and credit card slips.
Provide customers with a copy of the finalized invoice and payment receipt.
Assist accounts receivable with collecting funds for parts sales.
Create credits for returned parts according to the CCFT returned goods procedure.
Complete assigned training programs on time.
Participate in company and vendor training on new products and product updates.
Maintain safe operational practices by following CCFT procedures and policies.
Maintain a professional appearance and communicate professionally with customers.
Demonstrate positive corporate citizenship.
Promote harmony and teamwork within the department and with other departments.
