About The Position

Suburban Land Rover Troy is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Parts Clerk to support its Parts Department. This hybrid role supports Parts Advisors with daily department operations and handles incoming and outgoing shipments, inventory organization, and receiving processes. The role requires dependability, organization, accuracy, and a collaborative approach to internal and external customer service.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn dealership software.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to regularly lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.
• Commitment to delivering a premium customer experience consistent with the Land Rover brand.

Nice To Haves

• Previous automotive parts, warehouse, shipping/receiving, inventory, or dealership experience.
• Desire to learn and grow within the automotive industry.

Responsibilities

• Assist Parts Advisors with customer and technician parts requests.
• Support parts counter operations and daily department tasks.
• Receive, inspect, verify, and stock incoming parts shipments.
• Process and document incoming and outgoing deliveries.
• Organize inventory and maintain warehouse cleanliness and efficiency.
• Pick, pack, and prepare parts orders for delivery or shipment.
• Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts.
• Maintain accurate records within dealership systems.
• Coordinate with vendors, delivery drivers, and internal departments.
• Ensure received parts are properly labeled and stored.
• Follow company safety procedures and inventory control processes.
• Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
