About The Position

At HOKALI, the platform helps schools book, organize, and manage onsite after-school programs and camps that supplement learning and enrich students’ extracurricular experiences. This role supervises and engages students during after-school enrichment programming, creating safe, engaging, and supportive learning experiences.

Educators supervise students from Transitional Kindergarten (TK) through 8th grade and lead enrichment or recreational activities in areas such as music, sports, dance, performing arts, martial arts, languages, wellness, STEM, and after care. Structured lesson plans are provided, with flexibility to bring original ideas to class.

The schedule is Monday through Friday, with specific hours varying according to program needs. Compensation is a competitive hourly rate based on active program hours.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Have the ability and willingness to complete three hours of online training.
• Have strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• Experience in one or more of the listed activities: music theory or vocal training; soccer, basketball, flag football, pickleball, or volleyball; hip hop, breakdance, K-pop, ballet, or jazz funk; theatre, acting, improv, or musical theatre; karate or jiu jitsu; Spanish, Mandarin, or French; yoga, meditation, or stretching; robotics, coding, or Lego; or after care.

Responsibilities

• Supervise students from Transitional Kindergarten (TK) through 8th grade.
• Ensure student safety and well-being at all times.
• Plan and lead engaging recreational and enrichment activities.
• Facilitate positive social interactions and encourage teamwork.
• Manage student behavior effectively using positive reinforcement.
• Maintain accurate attendance and incident records.
• Prepare and organize activity materials, keeping spaces clean and safe.
