About The Position

HOKALI simplifies how schools book, organize, and manage after-school programs and camps. Its platform helps schools find and book onsite programs that supplement learning and enrich students' extracurricular experiences. The After School Program Educator supervises and engages students during after-school enrichment programming, creating safe, engaging, and supportive learning experiences. The role serves students from Transitional Kindergarten (TK) through 8th grade. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with specific hours varying according to program needs. Compensation is a competitive hourly rate based on active program hours.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Have the ability and willingness to complete 3 hours of online training.
• Have strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• Experience teaching or leading activities such as music (music theory or vocal training); sports (soccer, basketball, flag football, pickleball, or volleyball); dance (hip hop, breakdance, K-pop, ballet, or jazz funk); performing arts (theatre and acting, improv, or musical theatre); martial arts (karate or jiu jitsu); languages (Spanish, Mandarin, or French); wellness (yoga, meditation, or stretching); or STEM (robotics, coding, or Lego).

Responsibilities

• Supervise students from Transitional Kindergarten (TK) through 8th grade.
• Ensure student safety and well-being at all times.
• Plan and lead engaging recreational and enrichment activities.
• Facilitate positive social interactions and encourage teamwork.
• Manage student behavior effectively using positive reinforcement.
• Maintain accurate attendance and incident records.
• Prepare and organize activity materials, and keep spaces clean and safe.
