About The Position

HOKALI provides a platform that helps schools book, organize, and manage onsite after-school programs and camps. The After School Program Educator supervises and engages students during after-school enrichment programming, creating safe, engaging, and supportive learning experiences for students from Transitional Kindergarten (TK) through 8th grade. Educators plan and lead recreational and enrichment activities, support positive social interactions, and manage student behavior using positive reinforcement. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with specific hours varying by program needs. Compensation is a competitive hourly rate based on active program hours.

HOKALI is seeking instructors with experience in activities including music (music theory and vocal training); sports (soccer, basketball, flag football, pickleball, and volleyball); dance (hip hop, breakdance, K Pop, ballet, and jazz funk); performing arts (theatre and acting, improv, and musical theatre); martial arts (karate and jiu jitsu); languages (Spanish, Mandarin, and French); wellness (yoga, meditation, and stretching); STEM (robotics, coding, and Lego); or after care.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability and willingness to complete 3 hours of online training.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience in one or more of the listed activity areas is sought.

• Experience teaching music theory or vocal training; soccer, basketball, flag football, pickleball, or volleyball; dance; performing arts; martial arts; Spanish, Mandarin, or French; yoga, meditation, or stretching; robotics, coding, or Lego; or after care.
• Ability to bring personal ideas to class in addition to using provided structured lesson plans.
