About The Position

We are looking for enthusiastic and reliable individuals to teach fun, beginner-friendly Pickleball and Tennis sessions for elementary school students in grades K–5, ages 5–10, at various school sites around the Bay Area. The after-school programs run Monday through Friday between 1:00 PM and 5:00 PM. Coaches typically teach one approximately one-hour class per day, with a possible additional 30 minutes of pre-care. Sessions emphasize creating a fun, energetic environment for young beginner-level students. Pay is $50–$65 per after-school session, and the company provides equipment. Weekend tennis clinics are also available, paying $18–$24 per hour for 2–4 hours, depending on tennis skills and class level. The role is in person, and candidates must live locally and be available to work at multiple school sites across the Bay Area.

Requirements

Be at least 19 years old.
Enjoy working with children and be patient, enthusiastic, and reliable.
Have good communication and class-management skills.
Have reliable transportation around the East Bay and Peninsula.
Be fully vaccinated and willing to undergo a TB test and Live Scan background check before starting work.

Nice To Haves

Previous Pickleball teaching or playing experience.
USPTA or PTR certification.

Responsibilities

Teach Pickleball classes for students ages 5–10 using provided lesson plans.
Manage classes of 8–16 students and maintain a positive environment.
Attend a two-day training or shadowing session before starting.
Take attendance, manage student sign-ins, and interact with parents and school staff.
Capture a few class photos for documentation.
