After-School Dance Facilitator

About The Position

We are looking for reliable, energetic, and positive Coaches to teach beginner-level programs for children ages 5–10 (Grades K–5) at schools throughout the Bay Area. All lesson plans and equipment are provided. The goal is to create a fun, active, and supportive learning environment for young players.

The available after-school program pays $50–$65 per class and runs Monday through Friday between 1:00 PM and 5:00 PM. Saturday tennis clinics pay $18–$24 per hour and may run Saturdays and/or Sundays, with back-to-back sessions available to coaches who demonstrate strong tennis and coaching skills. The role is in person, and applicants must currently live in the Bay Area. A two-day unpaid training and shadowing session is required, with sessions lasting 2–3 hours.

Requirements

• Must be at least 19 years old.
• Enjoy working with children.
• Have strong communication and classroom management skills.
• Have a valid driver's license and personal vehicle.
• Be authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.
• Complete required employment screening and documentation.
• Provide a photo and short biography for the company website.
• Currently live in the Bay Area and be available for in-person work.

Nice To Haves

• Playing or coaching experience is preferred but not required.
• USPTA or PTR certification is a plus.
• Strong tennis and coaching skills are needed for access to the Saturday tennis clinics.

Responsibilities

• Teach classes using company lesson plans.
• Manage groups of 8–16 students.
• Create a safe and positive learning environment.
• Attend a two-day unpaid training and shadowing session, with 2–3 hours per session.
• Take attendance and manage student sign-in and sign-out.
• Communicate professionally with parents and school staff.
• Take a few class photos for program documentation.
