After-School Dance Facilitator
About The Position
Euro School of Tennis is seeking reliable, energetic, and positive coaches to teach beginner-level programs to children ages 5–10 (Grades K–5) at schools throughout the Bay Area. The role is in person. Company lesson plans and equipment are provided, and the goal is to create a fun, active, and supportive learning environment for young players. The posting describes regular coaching opportunities and Saturday tennis clinics. Regular sessions are scheduled Monday–Friday, around 9:00 AM–1:00 PM, with back-to-back sessions available. Saturday tennis clinics are scheduled Saturdays and/or Sundays, also with back-to-back sessions available. Both programs pay $18–$24 per hour and are available to coaches who demonstrate strong tennis and coaching skills. The role includes a two-day unpaid training/shadowing session, with each session lasting 2–3 hours.
Requirements
- Be at least 19 years old.
- Enjoy working with children.
- Have strong communication and classroom management skills.
- Have a valid driver's license and a personal vehicle.
- Be authorized to work in the United States.
- Complete required employment screening and documentation.
- Provide a photo and short biography for the company website.
- Currently live in the Bay Area and be available for in-person work.
Nice To Haves
- Playing or coaching experience is preferred but not required.
- USPTA or PTR certification is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Teach classes using company lesson plans.
- Manage groups of 8–16 students.
- Create a safe and positive learning environment.
- Attend a two-day unpaid training/shadowing session, with sessions lasting 2–3 hours each.
- Take attendance and manage student sign-in and sign-out.
- Communicate professionally with parents and school staff.
- Take a few class photos for program documentation.
